Julia Louis-Dreyfus has found her groove in Washington.

The Season 2 finale is available on demand from June 24 until September 30, 2013, at HBO Canada On Demand and online at

After receiving solid ratings and critical acclaim for its first season, Armando Iannucci’s intelligent political satire returned for a second round with 10 episodes and more political gaffes than the entire Bush administration at its worst.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus is as delicious as ever in her Golden Globe-nominated role as floundering, foul-mouthed U.S. vice president Selina Meyer. Where the first season had the “veep” merely trying to keep her head above water in the White House, this season had Selina vying to raise her national profile while keeping the lid locked tightly on various political scandals. The result: some of the most wonderfully awkward television since The Office.

As skeletons begin to creep their way out of the administration’s closet at the end of Season 2, key staffers look to jump ship, while Selina considers not running for reelection. The really good news is that Veep is scheduled to return for a third season (consisting of 10 episodes) next year.
