Were you more excited than most for last month’s Season 8 premiere of Keeping Up With the Kardashians? Does Julie Chen uttering her infamous “but first…” tagline make your TV-loving heart swell? Do you know what holding a “Rose Ceremony”* means? If you answered yes to one or all of those questions, chances are you’re a fan of summertime television. More specifically, of the guilty pleasures: those shows that populate the television lineup when the temperatures start to rise and regular-season TV fare goes on hiatus for a few months.

Often campy, sometimes fascinating and always fun, TV’s summertime guilty pleasures may not be the highest-brow entertainment out there, but they make for a cool way to enjoy an otherwise sweltering time of year. Best of all, with Rogers On Demand, it’s even easier to stay caught up on all the drama, deception and death-defying challenges. Plus, with Rogers Anyplace TV™, you can watch what you want anywhere you want to watch it, so there’s no excuse for not tuning in.

Here are 10 shows we’re not ashamed to say we can’t wait to watch:

1. Whodunnit

CTV, on now!
Infused with as much faux-gravitas as unintentional comedy, this murder-mystery reality series follows a group of guests – including a nurse, a bounty hunter and an ex-cop – investigating a (fake) murder at “Rue Manor.” Though its debut season is already underway, we recommend tuning in, if for no other reason than to behold the scenery-chewing splendor of butler Giles (host Gildart Jackson).

2. Big Brother

Global, on now!
Bring on the Slop and the showmances! The 15th season of the twist-laden reality series features a record 16 contestants holed up in a camera-riddled house for three months, trying their best to outsmart each other in the hopes of winning $500K. Given BB’s “expect the unexpected” motto, we’re excited about the mayhem awaiting this year’s crop of “hamsters.”

3. American Ninja Warrior

NBC, on now!
Frankly, they had us at “ninja.” Hosted by Matt Iseman, Akbar Gbaja and Jenn Brown, this fierce reality series returns for Season 4, and finds 10 competitors toughing out some of the world’s most grueling obstacle courses for a victory spot atop Mount Midoriyama. Fun fact: despite its title, no American has ever won this Japanese TV–inspired show.

4. Get Out Alive with Bear Grylls

Global, starting July 8
Survivalist and Man vs. Wild legend Bear Grylls hosts this reality adventure series – billed as “the ultimate survival competition” – that sends 10 teams of two through some of New Zealand’s most extreme wilderness. (Think: Survivor meets The Amazing Race.) The reward for the last team standing? A cool half-million.

5. Hollywood Game Night

CTV, starting July 11
Ever wanted to match wits with Martin Short for a game of Trivial Pursuit? What about a round of Pictionary against Lisa Kudrow? This new game show co-produced by Sean Hayes (Will & Grace) and hosted by Glee’s Jane Lynch teams everyday folks with celebrities for a variety of party games and a $25,000 prize at the end of the night.

6. Deal With It

TBS, starting July 16
Part game show, part hidden-camera show, this series dares chosen-on-the-spot contestants to play pranks on their unsuspecting friends. The catch? The “players” are forced to wear earpieces and are given increasingly ridiculous instructions to follow. The more tasks they complete, and the longer their pals remain oblivious, the more cash and prizes they win.

7. Whose Line Is It Anyway?

The CW, starting July 16
Everything old is new again, and the CW is offering up this revamped version of the popular improv series that previously ran for eight seasons on ABC. Aisha Tyler takes over the hosting duties, a special guest joins the fray each episode, and WLIIA? veterans Colin Mochrie, Ryan Stiles and Wayne Brady return for more untethered comedic brilliance.

8. The Vineyard

ABC Spark, starting July 23
If you long for the soapy glory days of The Hills and Laguna Beach, look no further than this new docu-series for your guilty-pleasure fix this summer. Set in Martha’s Vineyard, the show follows 11 teens and twentysomethings through the choppy waters of romance, relationships, careers and the linchpin of every show like this: frenemies!

9. Capture

The CW, starting July 31
If Get Out Alive with Bear Grylls doesn’t fully satisfy your thirst for “live or die” reality TV, down this eerily similar adventure competition from the CW as a chaser. Pun intended. With $250,000 on the line, teams of two are dropped into an enclosed wilderness preserve and forced to “hunt” each other in order to win.

10. Too Cute

Animal Planet, starting August 3
Fluffy kittens! Roly-poly puppies! Hedgehogs and bunnies and ducklings! What’s not to love? The third season of this unapologetically adorable, shamelessly squee-inducing animal-documentary series offers up enough video clips of furry and feathery epic cuteness to brighten even the rainiest summer day.

*The Rose Ceremony: A cheesy key component of popular ABC/City dating series The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, during which the show’s looking-for-love contestant eliminates unworthy suitors by not giving them a rose. No, seriously.
