How To Live With Your Parents (For The Rest of Your Life)
The series finale is available on demand from June 27 until July 12, 2013, at Rogers On Demand (Channel 100) and online at RogersAnyplaceTV.com.
Wanting your children to have more than you did while growing up is something to which every parent can relate.
In the finale of this cute-and-quirky screwball comedy, uptight single mom Polly (Sarah Chalke) goes to great lengths to make sure her precocious daughter Natalie (Rachel Eggleston) never feels as ordinary as she did.
With the help of her oversexed, self-absorbed mother (Elizabeth Perkins), oafish step-father (Brad Garrett) and well-meaning ex-husband (Canadian Jon Dore), Polly attempts to make Natalie feel special by getting her into the gifted “Magnet” program at school. But on the journey to help her daughter, Polly discovers that maybe she wasn’t so ordinary herself, after all.
More brazen than Modern Family and less vanilla than The Middle, How To Live With Your Parents is a multigenerational comedy that manages to be both risqué and tender-hearted while exploring the pathology of family and parenting.
Check out this sweet and under-appreciated comedy before it’s too late; the June 26 episode is the series finale (remaining on demand until July 12).
