How to Live with Your Parents (for the Rest of Your Life)

Season 1 premieres April 3rd on Citytv, Rogers On Demand (Ch. 100) &

TV once again reflects the realities of life in an economic downtown. Aside from the typical escapist fare that always crops up at recession time, there’s the closer-to-home reality of possibly having to move back in (gasp) with your p-p-parents. Meet Polly: she’s recently divorced, very uptight and determined to be the best working single mom in the universe. Her much cooler parents (the wonderful Elizabeth Perkins and Brad Garrett), on the other hand, are über-chilled groovers who are much more interested in having sex than babysitting Polly’s offspring. Vancouver’s Sarah Chalke stars as the straitlaced Polly, who tells herself that these living arrangements won’t last forever.
