On Saturday, June 9th, eight-division world champion Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao and undefeated two-time junior welterweight champion Timothy “Desert Storm” Bradley, JR. will take centre stage and deliver what is, undeniably, one of the most anticipated boxing fights of the year.
Currently, pound for pound, the 8th ranked fighter in the world, Bradley has held titles in both the Light Welterweight and Welterweight divisions, defeating every opponent placed in front of him. A stellar right hook, impressive stamina and fearless determination has been his mantra thus far, and fans are eager to see if it’s enough to dethrone WBO welterweight champion Pacquiao.
Seemingly invincible, Pacquiao, who was recently named fighter of the decade by the Boxing Writers Association of America, enters the ring as the defending opponent whose relentlessness has belittled the likes of Oscar De La Hoya and Juan Manuel Marquez. So, naturally, if Bradley wins against the reigning king of the ring (and the pay-per-view box office,) it would present as one of the most legendary moments in boxing history.
Viewer’s Choice Pay-Per-View is producing and distributing the Pacquiao vs. Bradley World Boxing Organization (WBO) welterweight championship fight, and fans will be able to watch every punch, bob and weave as it happens, live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas beginning at 9:00 p.m. ET/6:00 p.m. PT. Watch it on Rogers Anyplace TV!
