Connected Rogers

It wasn’t long ago that if you wanted to watch a movie at home, you had no choice but to schlep yourself to a video store and then try to decide which film to rent.

Now, with Rogers on Demand, you can simply click your remote to Channel 100 and make your selection from the hundreds of TV shows and movies available across virtually every genre. So no more trekking to the video store. But you still need to choose what to watch. And while you could spend an hour reading through online reviews, wouldn’t you rather just get to the movie as fast as possible? With this in mind, Rogers On Demand has created a new movie folder called Certified Fresh.

Here, every movie comes with a 60-percent or higher higher approval rating, as ranked on popular movie-review website Rotten Tomatoes, which aggregates reviews from hundreds of people, then deems movies either “fresh” (good) or “rotten” (bad). New movies are added to the Certified Fresh folder weekly.

Certified Fresh isn’t the only new folder on Rogers On Demand. The Free Bonus and Features folder includes theatrical trailers and 10-minute teasers including ones made for The Muppets, Transit and Born to Race. Current theatrical trailers include Friends with Kids, Men in Black 3, 21 Jump Street and The Amazing Spider-Man.
