You’d better watch out: Santa Claus is coming to town. Anyone else would find it impossible to deliver toys to all the girls and boys in one night, but Santa has a few helpful tools up his sleeve. Although he wouldn’t reveal how he keeps track of who’s naughty or nice, he let us in on the gear he uses to make Christmas Eve his most wonderfully productive time of the year.

1. TOMTOM GO LIVE 1535

TomTom GPSThe reindeer know how to get around, and Santa uses this GPS system to find points of interest and to check TomTom HD Traffic, which updates traffic every two minutes. “A lot of families travel the night before Christmas,” he says. “We avoid flying over busy roads and highways to make sure we’re not spotted.”

2. TOUCHSCREEN GLOVES

Touchscreen GlovesIt’s pretty chilly high in the sky, but Santa still needs to be able to use his phone’s touchscreen. He relies on Winter Style Glider Gloves while en route. “I’m always checking my lists twice and using other apps on my phone, and I can still tap the screen icons with these gloves on.”

3. GOOGLE TRANSLATE

Google TranslateSanta is an international man of merriment, and this app helps him translate notes left beside the milk and cookie, such as “Share with the reindeer!”; “May contain nuts”; and “Please take my annoying brother with you,” from more than 60 languages and dialects.

4.GRIFFIN SURVIVOR iPHONE CASE

Griffin Survivor iPhone CaseYou think you need a durable smartphone case? At least you’ve never had a reindeer catch your falling smartphone in its teeth, or dropped your device down a chimney.

5. SIRI

SiriWhile leading his reindeer in his sled, Santa feels safer conducting festive business handsfree. “With Siri, I can call the North Pole, pull up the naughty or nice list and play a holiday tune with just a few words.”

6. THE WEATHER NETWORK APP

The Weather Network AppSanta needs to know what kind of conditions the reindeer are flying into. After using this app to learn about wind speeds and changes in air pressure, he can alter his route.

7. HOT ROD HEATED TRAVEL MUG

Hot Rod Heated Travel MugNothing says “Ho ho ho” better than a hot cup of co-co-coa. A lover gadgets, Santa even keeps track of his cocoa’s temperature with the gauge on this rad travel mug from thinkgeek.com.

8. INTERNATIONAL ROAMING DATA PASS

International Roaming Data PassSanta enjoys the convenience of being able to purchase a Rogers Roaming Data Day Pass for the one night he’s on delivery duty. “I look up reindeer games while flying over the oceans,” says Santa. “Everyone’s invited to join in.”

9. NOISE-CANCELLING HEADPHONES

Noise Cancelling HeadphonesIt may seem peaceful, but the wind makes it pretty loud up there in the sky. Santa loves these Able Planet True Fidelity noise-cancelling headphones. They’re lightweight and fit comfortably over Santa’s trademark hat.

10. SPORTDOG TEK TRACKING AND TRAINING COLLARS

Sportdog Tek Tracking and Training CollarsSanta uses these collars to communicate with his reindeer. “They come in handy when I get stuck in a chimney,” says Santa. “People don’t know this, but Dasher, Vixen and Cupid have had to pull me out more than a few times.”
