Q: When will LTE service come to my community?

Q: How is LTE different from 4G HSPA+?
A: LTE provides faster, more advanced wireless data transfers than 4G HSPA+ and EDGE networks. Rogers LTE devices currently support maximum download speeds of up to 100 megabits per second (Mbps)*. Typical download speeds range from 12 to 25 Mbps or 12 to 40 Mbps** with 2600 MHz-enabled devices, meaning a rich wireless internet experience comparable to wired internet access. Q: Will my current device get faster with LTE?
The LTE network is only accessible by LTE-capable devices, and cannot be enabled on existing devices. To upgrade to an LTE device, SIM card and plan, visit a Rogers store.

Q: How will I know if I’m on the LTE network?
A: If you’re accessing the LTE network, you will see an indicator on your screen. Exactly what it looks like depends on your device type.
