Technology changes at such a fast pace that it can be really hard to keep up. Just when you think you understand how to, say, use a particular gadget or download software, the tech behind it gets updated and the entire game changes. But technology is, in the meantime, becoming more intrinsic to our daily lives, so the question isn’t “Should I keep up?” it’s “How do I keep up?”
Rogers is aiming to answer the question “How do I keep up?” with its new Tech Essentials: Ask an Expert program. This education web portal aims to provide Canadians with a deeper understanding of how to safely and properly use today’s technology. How does it work? You just sign in, then chat with a live expert on a variety of topics.
The first topic? Roaming. Just in time for Spring Break, roaming expert Donavan Beth – director of roaming and long distance at Rogers – will be on hand to answer any questions you might have about roaming (which is loosely defined as “using your smartphone outside of the Rogers Network”).
The Roaming event takes place Thursday, March 7, 2013 from 1 pm to 3 pm.
