The folks at BlackBerry (née Research In Motion) rocked the smartphone world earlier this week when announcing their much-anticipated new BB10 operating system and devices, riling up BlackBerry enthusiasts around the world.

Leading up to the big launch, however, the smartphone manufacturer announced that they had landed a coveted 30-second commercial spot on the biggest ad night in the television year – Super Bowl XLVII – a first for the Waterloo, Ontario-based company.

Keeping the momentum leading up to Sunday’s big game, on Friday BlackBerry released a teaser still image from their commercial in hopes of stirring up conversation on what viewers might expect from the spot. Guess we’ll have to wait till Sunday to find out.
