Connected Rogers

Tutorials

Maybe you’ve planned an extended European holiday this summer. Maybe you’re a snowbird who travels to Florida or Arizona for a couple of months each winter. Whatever the reason, if you’re going to be away from home for an extended period of time, you may want to temporarily disconnect your telephone services while you’re away. This is called activating Seasonal Service. It’s a great way to save money, and you still get to keep your phone number.

To activate Seasonal Service, contact Rogers at 1-888-ROGERS1.

With regard to ‘seasonal service’, you may wish to expand this information bulletin to include ‘how to’ and ‘costs’ for seasonal disconnect to phones, fax, internet, and how to pick up phone messages while away, and how to pick up emails while away.
Also information pertaining to cell phones usage, roaming charges, while away. Advice re temporary cell phone while away.
Information specific to seniors while away, to help facilitate communications especially during times of crisis.
It is my experience that information re ‘seasonal service or temporary hold’ is not consistent from Rogers customer service, and in some instances not correct.

tried to put my phone on vacation before and when I got back you didn’t want to give me back the same plan. Tried to explain, I hadn’t cancelled only on hold. had tooooooo much trouble to try it again. any other suggestions? I go away for 5 months in the winter to Florida and don’t use it there. Still have to pay every month.
Not fair….

Hi, I need to find out why the movies on TV do not show the year that they were made. Can you please put the date back on.
Thanks.
