If you use Outlook at home or in the office, it’s relatively easy to get all your appointments running in perfect sync between your Windows Phone device and your computer or tablet. With Windows Live sync, you can also create events and invite attendees, accept or decline meetings just like you would on your computer.

  1. On your computer, go to office.microsoft.com and search for “Outlook Hotmail Connector.”
  2. Download and install the Microsoft Office Outlook Hotmail Connector software and install it on your computer.
  3. Open Outlook on your computer. Click File then Add Account.
  4. Enter the information for the Microsoft account associated with your Windows Phone device.
  5. Click on Calendar in the bottom left and you’ll see all the calendar events you entered on your Windows Phone handset appear.
  6. Right-click on your main Outlook calendar and choose Copy Calendar from the context menu.
  7. Select the account that’s associated with your Windows Phone device then click OK.
Now, all your Outlook calendar events are copied to your Windows Live calendar.
  8. Go to Calendar.live.com and sign in with your Microsoft account details.
  9. Click Options in the top right and scroll down to Primary Calendar.
  10. Change the Primary Calendar to match the one you copied from Outlook in the previous step.
