Here’s how to program your Rogers remote:
- Turn on your TV, then press TV. It will blink once.
- Press and hold SETUP until the TV button blinks twice, then release it.
- Press 9 9 1 (the TV button will blink twice).
- With the remote pointed at the TV, press Power.
- Repeatedly press and release Channel + until your TV turns off. Now the remote will cycle through all possible codes until a match is found. You may need to press Channel + several times to find a match.
- Once the TV turns off, press SETUP once to lock the code. Then press POWER to turn on your TV and to confirm the code was correct and is locked.

Whenever I want to view the tv guide I have to press the guide button twice. Is there anyway that I can go straight to the tv guide with one press of the guide button?

Check for settings on that first screen

Good morning,
As a visually impaired person I have a recommendation for an accessibility feature to be included on your channels that display a listing of any channels and times. This would include the “guide” selection from the handset, HBOCD 311, 100, etc. The feature I am recommending is that the person would have the option to select a voice over that would read the items as you scroll down through the lists. As it currently stands, I am usually left to asking my family members to read the lists for me.
It’s my understanding that there are over 1.2 million people in Canada who are either visually impaired or blind. Keep in mind that our country is advancing with an aging population. Furthermore this accessibility feature could also be beneficial to those individuals that have learning disabilities such as dyslexia. Any consideration with respect to this request would be appreciated by many Canadians…. And if this feature already exists, please send the information to me on how to access the functionality.

We are a long time connected to a news channels package included FOX NEWS on channel 181. My question is, why don’t include Fox News in the HD 501 and above. Why we have to view it as a regular channel and not as HD, while CNN MSNBC and the rest are full 1080 p HD?

I have the same issue as Denise. …sort of. The tv works great but I cannot control the volume with the rogers remote. I have to use the Samsung remote to adjust the volume only. I sure hope you can help out.

Why must I have a data plan (mobile access) in order to use my Smart Phone as a TV Remote? Why can I not use my wifi connection instead?
