Maybe it’s an annoying ex. Maybe it’s a telemarketer who doesn’t understand the idea behind the Do Not Call List. Maybe it’s a prank caller who’s realized the last four digits of your phone number spell out something amusing to sophomoric minds.
Whatever the case, if you need to block someone from calling you, Rogers One Number has your back: Just add the individual’s number to your blocked callers list in Rogers One Number. The next time that person calls, your phone won’t ring and the caller will instead hear a pre-recorded message that says: “The party you are trying to reach is not accepting calls at this time.” It’s much more polite than “the person you’re trying to call has no desire whatsoever to speak to you. Kindly take a long walk off a short pier.”
Block a number in Rogers One Number:
Open your Rogers One Number Web page or app.
- In My Settings, click or tap Blocked Numbers.
- Click or tap Add Number and enter the number you wish to block. If the person you’re blocking is in your contacts, you can enter a name instead.
- Press OK to save.
Tip: You can also choose to block calls from lines that are hiding their Caller ID details by checking the box beside Private Numbers.
